The community of Center Point is grieving the tragic loss of Kevin A. Arita-Alvarado, a 20-year-old man who died in a devastating hit-and-run accident on Green Springs Highway in Birmingham.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, the fatal crash occurred between 2:05 a.m. and 2:13 a.m. on Sunday near the intersection of Green Springs Highway and Red Mountain Terrace.
