VARNVILLE, S.C. — The Varnville community is mourning the tragic death of Donnie Kinard, 46, who was fatally stabbed late Saturday night, April 4, 2026, at a residence on Pocotaligo Road in Yemassee. Deputies discovered Kinard around 11:04 p.m., suffering from a stab wound to the neck. Despite immediate emergency response, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
